The walking speed of the bulldozer's tracks is regulated by a flow control valve (the higher the flow, the faster the speed), and the forward/backward direction is controlled by a directional valve; When turning, the turning is achieved by adjusting the flow difference between the left and right walking motors (such as reducing the flow of the left motor and keeping the flow of the right motor constant). This process is completed by the steering control valve group, and the response speed of the valve directly determines the flexibility and smoothness of the turning.

When the bulldozer performs multiple actions simultaneously (such as the bulldozer descending and moving forward), the control valve uses internal flow distribution logic to reasonably distribute the hydraulic oil output by the pump, avoiding "oil grabbing" between actions that may cause jamming. For example, when heavy-duty bulldozing, the control valve prioritizes ensuring the flow demand of the bulldozer cylinder, while allocating a portion of the flow to the walking motor to ensure smooth execution of the composite action.
